Pastor Betty Logan has been Senior Pastor over Exalted Word Church since February 4, 2007 after the transitioning of her husband William E. Logan, Jr., Senior Pastor and Founder on November 28, 2006.  An ordained Elder with over 25 years in the ministry, Pastor Logan, affectionately called Pastor Betty, is a woman of faith and purpose.  She believes the Word of God, "Now until Him Who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20).  And thus, she constantly encourages herself and the people of God to "walk by faith and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7) and "be found a faithful servant of the Lord " ( 2 Corinthians 4:2) and look with great expectation for the manifestation of the power of God!

Pastor Betty has established both youth and women ministries, both of which are passionate to her. She has purposed in her heart that no child shall cross her path without them knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord has placed a burden on her heart to bring healing and deliverance to those broken, wounded and in bondage and speak words of encouragement to pursue all that the Lord has for them who love Him.   

Pastor Betty is the founder of Logan Academy and Learning Center (Academy), named after the late Pastor William E. Logan, Jr.  The Academy is a separate affiliated non-profit educational ministry of Exalted Word Church.  Its purpose is to prepare youth and adults for the challenges of life by providing programs and activities that foster spiritual, social and economic growth ; teaching and promoting Christian values and advancing academic excellence and service to others. The Academy’s foundational scripture is Proverbs 23:12 “Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.”  Since 2011, the Academy has operated a five-week Summer Enrichment Program focusing on reading, math, science, biblical character traits, cultural trips, recreational outings and organized sports.  After-school tutoring and mentoring is offered during the school year.  

In addition to ministry, Pastor Betty is a licensed certified public accountant and financial management consultant with extensive experience in public accounting and financial management consulting with non-profit organizations and local and federal governments.
